Smokehouse Chicken and Guns

Stopped here after a motorcycle ride. Chicken wings were awesome! Whole wings ie tips, flats, drums. Great flavor. The poutine was great, too. I could have used more gravy and not as thick. Bathroom is like a disgusting gas station though. JHC. Bit on the spendy side for a dive.

This is our go-to place after a long bike ride on the Banks Vernonia trail. Chicken is always juicy and tender, and the guns are always crispy and delicious. I tried the flank steak this time, and it was cooked perfectly If you haven't stopped in for some good grub, then you're missing out.

The Peruvian steak and rice is just freaking excellent. Yes, the wings and guns are all great too, but everything on this menu must be tried

The food and sauces are DELICIOUS. The Brussels sprouts are definitely the best I’ve ever had. The smoked meats are juicy and tender. They did an excellent job with the menu. The decor is great, they achieved the nostalgic hospitality with a touch of cozy. Service was great - the girl who took our order was very friendly, helpful and gave great suggestions. I would be a regular here if I lived in the area!

Yup.. all the other reviews are right! This place is awesome. I ordered a quarter chicken..potato salad..side of guns..and a cider. My girl ordered a cheeseburger and guns..a juice.. and a banana something or other Sunday soft serve. It came with an amazing banana sauce, and a cookie that was comparable to a chips ahoy, but better!.. The chicken came as a breast and a wing. Cooked to perfection. Even though it was a breast, it was very moist and juicy, full of flavor. Next time i am gonna get a half bird so I can sample the darker meat (my favorite ).. the wing was also perfection..fall off the bone..great flavor. I could easily see putting away 6 or 8 of them with a cold beer! Which brings us to the bar and atmosphere. Great decor. And very casual. Service staff was friendly and all smiles. The bar looks like my kind of place with a great both area for perhaps a larger party. The dining room has plenty of amazing nostalgic items to keep younlooking around. And the wood base on the counter fit right in..gorgeous! I will be back. Especially if they add pulled pork and perhaps a brisket plate..hint hint.. Go check them out. They have my seal of approval !

I don't write reviews very often, but I felt obligated because I was super impressed. I got the quarter bird with guns, and my partner got the chicken salad, we also shared some wings. We both thought everything was super delicious! My favorite thing was actually the sauce, specifically the AJI Sauce, they should bottle that stuff!! The service was great as well. The two guys working (Can't remember their names, it was a Monday) were both super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We didn't sit in the bar area, but they took us back and it looked awesome, looks like a great place to take a group of people. We will definitely be back soon, we really want to try the Breakfast menu. I recommend you try this amazing place.

SO GOOD!!! We went here for Fathers day. The pork belly mac and cheese is AMAZING. And the chicken is very good. Everything was amazing! Service was great, I had so many questions about the place and they answered them. They were all so sweet and helpful. And the coffee was the best. Definitely a must.
